Isabelle has energy and a little bit of mischief. It features 2 pleats on the right side and an asymmetrical hem. 4 vintage style buttons in a mix of metal, glass and wood close the skirt; they vary on every garment.
These skirts are created from men’s vintage suit-pants. The pants are cleaned, cut apart and then pieced together again as skirts, coats, jackets, pants….. The holes are mended; stitching is added, some of it by hand, some of it by machine.
This is a very slow process; the end result is SlowMade, ReMade and definitely One-Of-A-Kind.
Shown is a size Small. They come in all sizes but no two skirts are the same. The pants they are made from are different, the patched holes are different, the patching and stitching is different.
X-Small: Waist is 30", Longest point on skirt is 42”
Small: Waist is 32", Longest point on skirt is 43”
Medium: Waist is 34", Longest point on skirt is 44”
Large: Waist is 36", Longest point on skirt is 45”
